I’m Olympia Loló, a nomad wanderer in constant search for images and stories to document.
I’m originally from Chile, that's where I began my journey when I started studying photography in Santiago City. Later on, I fell in love with the way brazilians do their documental films, so I moved to Brazil and studied to specialize in documental video and photography.
With my work I'm aiming to respect the raw realities I shoot, hoping that the spectator will make his own mind about what they see and make their own reflexions about it.
Every place I walk into, all the people that open the doors for me in this journey, have made me feel welcomed and I'm deeply grateful for their generosity. For they let me capture them in complete honesty, their lives and communities. My wanderlust has taken me to unexpected places, now I find myself in the United States, moving from east to west.
